A very welcoming and friendly restaurant, we immediately felt pampered. Dishes well executed and served to perfection, you can see a great desire to strive and always do better. Good choice of wines. Warm and relaxing environment, we had a lovely evening.

siamo stati in questo ristorante per l'ultimo dell'anno , e lo chef Guido come al solito non ci ha traditi. 7 portate una migliore dell'altra, eccellente l'anti pasto, mitico il dolce,anche il vino era buono per un prezzo veramente contenuto! Appena vado da quelle parti la sosta è d'obbligo.

Alto Sangro is a land of simple trattorias, kebabs and pallotte, lullit and soups of the bride, but, for a few years, it has also been a flourishing of gourmet and refined proposals, around the stars of Niko Romito. The Caraceni bring the refinement of the gastronomic offer to the heart of Alfedena, on the ground floor of the historic Leon D'Oro, which has been without a restaurant since the legendary Mrs. Franca moved her restaurant to the other end of the town. The menu offers excellent choices, and the wine list responds with a high quality cellar, all refined by the opening and closing amuse-bouche offered by the house. The room perhaps lacks personality in the modern furnishings that have been seen and revised a little, but the garden at the back, among pear trees, walnuts and hazelnuts, is a true enchantment. The staff is professional and competent, kind but never intrusive. We had a good time, as always.
