RiverSide Snack Bar In Bellagio

One of the best carbonara I had in Italy. But pricey but great views.

I must confess that I love sunsets. The Riverside is a kiosk located in Bellagio at the mouth of the Perlo stream. The watercourse has formed a natural beach, obviously made of stones like almost all the beaches on the lake. You can swim (not without a pair of rock shoes, due to the rocks), there is a floating platform for diving and a pier for mooring boats. The panorama is remarkable because you can see Villa Melzi, the village of Bellagio, the center of the lake, Cadenabbia, Villa Carlotta, the Grand Hotel Tremezzo up to Punta Balbianello. Behind, on the other side of the lake, the mountains with spring waters, among which I would like to point out Mount Tremezzo (known as Crocione) and Mount Grona, where a beautiful refuge worthy of a walk stands out: the Menaggio refuge. For those who stop at the beach, the Riverside offers plastic deckchairs (10 euros) and all the refreshments of a bar, from a bottle of water to an aperitif and a light meal. The best thing is to come late, to enjoy the sunset behind the mountains. The staff is kind and friendly, with an open, Milanese courtesy, so different from the suspicious reluctance of the true Bellagini (now almost everywhere replaced by foreigners, at least on the front line). The sore point are the prices, worthy of a white glove bar in the square in Bellagio (or Venice), even if the context is that of a beach of gray pebbles like those of an open-air quarry, but I like it anyway , especially at sunset (I told you that, yes).

The place is great, the pasta very good, the same for the bruschettas. We introduced ourselves to 20 people, we were very well received and well served. We just wanted to take a deckchair to relax and the boss asked for 10€ The joke, knowing that it's their last day of the season and after closing. Another boss who doesn't understand anything about business. A magnificent view and after your meal you can swim. Restaurant at the foot of the lake. I recommend

Ci vado da più di 30 anni, ed è sempre lì,un riferimento per chi naviga sul lago,un locale che se non ci fosse lo si dovrebbe inventare😜ma per fortuna c'è 👊🏻 Tutto ottimo,personale competente e ottima gestione, prezzi ben esposti, in linea con la qualità che offre, chi si lamenta non capisce una fava, meglio che vada da un altra parte oppure che legga il menù prima di lamentarsi senza motivo, nessuno ti obbliga ad andarci. Io ci vado da sempre e spero di poterci andare ancora per molto. Ciao poveri🤣🤣🤣

We arrived for afternoon drinks and dinner. We were served by very friendly staff who made the experience really enjoyable. The food was excellent, and the location was perfect - literally right on the lake. Bellissimo!

Great location for the best evening views. This place has great quality food, everything is made from scratch as soon as you order. Service is excellent. Very calm pace here so come to enjoy not to rush! You walk down a short dark street to get here. Don’t be frightened it’s at the end of the road at the beach!

Baretto sulla spiaggia vicino a San Giovanni

Lovely place, with stunning views and relaxed atmosphere. You can spend tine on the beach and come for a drink or some food. However, the food is decent but it is a bit pricy for what it is.
