We went there twice. We went back because we wanted to taste Chef Giorgio's cuisine again (with Rémi of ratatouille tattooed on his arm). His cooking matches his good humor and his smile. Dishes that change depending on availability and excellent advice for wine. A pure treat!

The best. The location, the food, the wine, the kindness, the locals. A little place, clean as a whistle, tables to enjoy the locals neighborhood. The true spirit of Venice. We keep going back to Venice and Salvmeria is a big reason. It’s Okie Dokie !

Il personale è stato davvero cortese ed empatico. Hanno avuto davvero una attenzione particolare con nostro figlio di poco meno di 2 anni. Poca scelta nel menù (che è un bene), qualche piatto fuori carta e tanta qualità! Consigliato!

Piccolo locale in quel di via Garibaldi dove si serve un mix di Veneto e Sicilia di buon livello sia nel menù che nei vini. Buoni anche i cicchetti e lo stesso i dolci. Grande gentilezza e simpatia. Tornati ancora una volta prima di rientrare a casa. Unico neo: ci hanno suggerito un bar per la colazione con le cameriere più antipatiche della laguna 🤣

We recently had the pleasure of dining at the Salumeria and loved the experience. The food was delicious, prices reasonable, and service friendly and gracious. Great spot if you are looking for an out of the way place away from the Venetian crowds.

02/04/2024: Fantastic customer service. Incredibly welcoming staff - for all guests - we arrived at 7PM on the dot and managed to get a table for 3 with no reservation. Booking appears to be essential, and timely. Other guests who arrived earlier than planned - with reservations - were turned away. Tables outside ( a little cold in April) were unused. The food was delicious. You can really TASTE discrete flavours. We also grabbed some local wine and it was very good. We would go again. Lovely atmosphere. Clean toilets. We paid €130 for 3 with €40 for wine.
31/03/2024: Tucked away in a quiet side of Venice, nice setting complemented by good drinks and food. If you are looking for seafood, they do have a nice variety and fish of the day was the best dish we had. If you are looking for regular pizza/pasta, this is not the place as the cooking style is new age with a nice twist and offers something unique. They have a great variety of wine and was good to try few of the local area wines based on the recommendations of the staff. Nice warm service by thestaff to complete a well rounded restaurant.
