San Marco In Pavia

I recently stayed in Pavia for a few days and discovered this lovely welcoming place behind the station. On my first evening, after a long day's travel from England, I was delighted to discover such a lovely, friendly locals' joint with very nicely cooked Italian food on offer ( not just pizza!). The staff couldn't have done more to make the experience a pleasant one and the prices were really reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food on offer. I ended up returning for three nights and it was totally worth it.

It saved my dinner on the fly while I was waiting for the train. They were quick to prepare the calzone and let me eat there even though I had asked for takeaway!! Top service🔝

You literally get your pizza in less than 5 minutes, and everytime it’s delicious. The staff is always friendly

Really nice people! I left my bag there and this guy informed me~ go and have their pizza or anything and do a bit of chitchat because they are great 😄
