Decent gelato, and they have some vegan options, but many more plant-based flavours are needed (no reason why they can't be 100% vegan for every flavour).

Characteristic place in the central and touristy Piazza Mercantile of Bari. Attracted by the comings and goings of tourists, I decide to try the ice cream shop, despite the difficulty in accessing it for a person with mobility difficulties due to the presence of a step at the entrance. The interior is bright and contains "memories" of an amusement park (ferris wheel-shaped lights hanging from the ceiling and closed, steel containers for offering ice cream, like those of the ice cream vendors of the past). The offer is not very wide: alongside the classics (strawberry, chocolate, melon, pistachio, hazelnut, fiordilatte, mango) few particularities but well chosen, for full flavours, with intense and well creamed ingredients, no ice crystals and cream on request at part. Order two medium cups: one pistachio (rich in grains of the fruit itself) and liquorice (intense enough to be recognizable with your eyes closed) and another blueberry ricotta (the creaminess of the dairy product creates a good marriage with the acidity of the berry ) with traditional cream (yellow and sweet like grandma's) plus the addition of whipped cream, creating a pleasant contrast with the cold of the ice cream. Possibility of eating inside at the counter on high stools (like I did) or at the iron tables outside. Fair bill, quick service, polite staff capable of speaking in foreign languages ​​with foreign customers, willing to advise but without exceeding in confidence. Advised.

Beautiful store with fantastic gelato. The quality is in the flavor and texture. We had pistachio and ricotta with blueberry. The latter was recommended by the staff and it was really delicious and tasted very natural.
