01/04/2024: Today we decided to try a tavern serving typical Veronese cuisine and we opted for this comfortable establishment, led by a very nice lady who welcomed us like a grandmother welcomes her grandchildren. We immediately felt at home, we even shared the table with a loving family from Verona (something I really appreciated because this way you can socialize a bit, which is not a given nowadays) We chose as starters the plate of cured meats and cheeses and the pulled pork with rocket and parmesan cheese, all fresh and excellent. Next we tried the chickpea and mushroom soup and tagliolini with duck ragù, as well as the characteristic pastisada de caval (very good) with polenta and a side of artichokes, all accompanied by an excellent house red wine. Finally, a chocolate cake for dessert, unfortunately the tiramisu was finished, but the lady certainly made it on purpose to give us an excuse to return. And we will DEFINITELY come back to visit her, and so do you 😉 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
