I have eaten his Porchetta sandwiches in Piazza Mercato multiple times. They are the best. If you want an authentic Porchetta sandwich, this is the one.

Here you can get very tasty porchetta and other products made in-house. Porchetta is a specialty in Umbria and Lazio. A young pig is roasted whole, similar to, but not the same as, the suckling pig known in Germany, as the latter are usually smaller. The meat is sliced ​​and usually eaten cold in a roll.

Our favorite porchetta! Delicate, without spices that alter the taste and quality, simply excellent. We return to Umbria frequently and every time it is an obligatory stop. The lady at the counter was very nice and tidy. Compliments!

24/09/2023: Location that offers the possibility of various excursions. I stayed in a splendid hotel, with a historic scent present in every service. In the Borgo I was recommended the hot croissants at Bar Echoes café. We appreciated the fragrance and the fact that they were freshly baked. One with Nutella, one with pistachio cream and a classic one with jam.... Furthermore, the embrace of the local population with the tourists was felt. Congratulations to the ladies who run it, the location for the newsstand is welcome even if it's a little excessive. Clean and well updated place. Compliments. Next summer I hope to be able to return. OR
