What does a small menue mean in a beautiful restaurant? It is a sign that food is highly respected in this place, that they care about their products, that they know exactly what they are doing and place quality over quantity - like in Al Cairoli in Ravenna. With their well selected choice of local dishes from local products the chef creates culinary marvels. And their benchmarks are high. When the manager took our wine order, opened the bottle, tasted the wine prior to let us taste it and then placed the cork next to our first wine glasses, we understood that they achieve high standards in all categories. A restaurant will become especially precious to its guests should they manage to create a first-time experience especial in the gastronomic, culinary aspect. The food we had was excellent and the desert of pistacchio tiramisu was breath-taking, a first-time we will hardly ever forget. Grazie tanto a tutto il Team di Al Cairoli!!

From my subjective feeling, unfortunately a case of cooked for the eye but not for the palate. Food looked fantastic and the whole restaurant almost gave the impression of an upscale star restaurant. However, the taste quality of the dishes unfortunately did not meet this expectation; for my personal taste, they were a bit discouraged and some of the creations were not entirely harmonious, aiming for an effect but not really perfect in terms of taste. Please put my statements in relation to the price level demanded there.

leggermente staccato dalle strade turistiche da l'impressione di essere frequentato dai romani. Personale cortese, cucina saporito e varia, prezzo onesto. Da tenere presente quando si passa da quelle parti.

Trovato per caso, in visita a Roma per il capodanno 2023, qs locale ci ha attratto per il menù esposto all'esterno: piatti tipici a prezzi giusti. Non siamo stati delusi: abbacchio con patate gustoso e tenero, primi piatti come cacio e pepe, amatriciana saporiti e abbondanti. Inoltre il locale è poco affollato, quindi poco rumoroso, il che ha permesso di pranzare in tranquillità. Prezzi più che onesti in rapporto alla qualità del cibo. Da riprovare!
