Taverna Dei Contrari In Roma

11/12/2023: We visited Daniel and the team for our traditional last night dinner at El Faciolaro and again we were not disappointed. Even though we visit every time, this would be #5 for this tradition, we found the food, atmosphere, and entertainment no different. The City was crowded for the lighting of the Christmas tree ceremony and the restaurants were all decorated and full. We always make reservations, even knowing we are going early regarding a Roman eating out times. Most know the restaurant Bocca across the street is the “sister” of El Faciolaro and owned by the same family. We often hit that for pizza one night. We all laughed and ate incredible meals. I highly suggest getting pasta and on second, the roasted potatoes over the fries. Specials are always excellent. Also as a tradition we finished our meal with a couple rounds of limoncello and desert. We have posted pictures at every visit and will post our 2023 pictures and looking forward to our next visit to Rome.
