I congratulate the staff who are friendly, helpful and attentive to satisfying every type of request. The portions are generous and good. We took a fixed menu but in the confusion, as the place was packed, they forgot to serve us the loin among the different dishes and to make up for it they deducted the portion not served from the final price, they offered us extra desserts and among these also a dessert, homemade by Mrs. Stefania, like a chocolate nougat. We will definitely be back.

Ristorantino accogliente a conduzione familiare, cucina genuina, prezzi accessibili. Forse un po’ lento il servizio, ma nulla di imperdonabile.

Oggi, da Assisi, ci siamo spostati a Greccio per visitare il museo dei presepi. Purtroppo è chiuso per motivi di manutenzione. Dopo la visita al Santuario di S. Francesco, abbiamo pranzato alla Taverna Frate Francesco ambiente accogliente (abbiamo pranzato sul terrazzino con vista sul paesino e un'aria piacevolmente fresca), cordialità e gentilezza del personale e, soprattutto una buona cucina. Noi abbiamo preso "pizzicotti alla sabinese", salsiccia e cicoria ripassata e caffè. Tutto ottimo. Consiglio caldamente.

26/12/2023: The food is good, the quality is excellent, the cuisine is excellent, but if you go with the idea that you can choose between various dishes, the idea abounds, the choice is forced between two dishes for each course. I recommend that when you book, ask for the expected menu of the day, so as not to be disappointed

24/08/2023: La prima volte che torno dopo il terremoto. Ero un frequentatore seriale ogni volta che ci passavo con gli amici in moto. L'ambiente chiaramente diverso, sarà stato che era un sabato a pranzo e la struttura era in un complesso di fabbricati tutti adibiti a ristoranti, che tutti i locali erano stracolmi di avventori, mi è sembrato tutto eccessivamente turistico. Contento perchè ho visto la vivacità del territorio (ancora martoriato purtroppo), ma il fascino del vecchio "Roma"non c'è piu. In ogni modo ottima la gricia come il misto alla griglia. Prezzi ancora abbordabilissimi. Consiglio in ogni modo la visita, preferendo se possibile i giorni infrasetttimanali.
07/08/2023: Ci hanno indicato questo ristorante come quello storico amatriciano e devo dire che ci hanno consigliato davvero bene. Abbiamo preso un antipasto diviso due e due assaggi, rispettivamente di gricia e di amatriciana, davvero buonissimi. Abbiamo lasciato il locale molto soddisfatti, anche perché abbiamo trovato un ambiente estremamente gioviale con servizio veloce e parecchia attenzione al cliente, tanto che ci è sembrato di mangiare a casa di amici
