Vielen herzlichen Dank - wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt im Hotel im sassone :) wir kommen gerne wieder! Tolle Anlage, tolle Zimmer, tolles Frühstück, tolles Abendessen! :)

Just an incredible place to stay, staff can not do enough for you, we also did the cooking class and vineyard tour which showed off more of this amazing estate. We will be back. They are very dog friendly and have their own onsite Ivo who will be pottering around everyday. If you are planning to fly to Italy you can easily get a train from Pisa to Folnica then take a 20 minute taxi from the station to make the journey a little easier.

Wunder-schönes Hotel mit tollem Pool.

Siamo stati in questa Villa per un fine settimana di luglio. La Villa è accogliente e ben tenuta, con una piscina grande e posizionata in modo da avere privacy dalle camere. Purtroppo c'è da segnalare che la strada per raggiungere la Villa è sterrata e non adatta a chi ha un'auto da città o con piccola cilindrata e ogni volta che si sale o si scende ci si ritrova l'auto piena di polvere. La nostra camera era posizionata proprio vicino al barbecue e ai tavoli del ristorante aperto anche agli esterni e il condizionatore presente era uno di quelli portatili che sono abbastanza rumorosi. Il personale è attento e servizievole a noi è piaciuta molto la presenza di cani e gatti che rendono il soggiorno più armonioso.

I had the most beautiful lunch & afternoon at Il Sassone. We called in the morning to ask if the restaurant would be open for lunch, and the lovely manager said we could come for the set menu. We arrived to a beautifully set table in the shade of the courtyard terrace, overlooking a gorgeous expanse of vineyards all the way to the horizon. We at four carefully curated and prepared courses, with fresh local produce from the property and the local area. It was delicious! We shared a bottle of the winery’s rose and it was lovely. Thank you for a fantastic time, it was truly our best meal in Tuscany 😊
