Timoleone Café In Taormina

We were in Taormina in mid-September and found this place while Googling for a vegetarian restaurant - we were not disappointed! The ambiance is fabulous, we loved every wine we tried, and the bruschetta and tiramisu were delicious!! Unfortunately, we didn't get back to try their pasta dishes, but if we ever make it back to Taormina, I hope Timoleone's is still there. We met the owner, who was friendly, down to earth, and you could tell he loved and took pride in his restaurant. We saw him working as hard as the staff!! Five stars all the way!!

Super nice atmosphere and delicious cocktails.

An absolutely perfect place with an exceptional atmosphere. Two visits, both equally great. Unfortunately full for the third time, but we will be happy to return next year! I also appreciate the opportunity to "just" sit with a glass, nobody chases you away...

Very cozy atmosphere in a courtyard-like area with pleasant light in the evening, very nice and attentive service, pleasant music (Italian chansons?) The cocktail selection is varied and you can also order off the menu, all the cocktails tasted good! Have been there several times and ate last time. The bruschetta was very tasty, crispy with delicious oil, fresh tomatoes, spices and herbs. The noodles, on the other hand, were hardly edible but the consistency was good. The dish came to the table lukewarm and had an indefinable taste, bland and no seasoning. The next table also felt the same way and also tried to save something with spices for the same dish. My conclusion: A recommendation for drinks in the evening but you shouldn't come hungry!

Frist class dining and dronning experience, the place is so cozy and the vegan food options are other-worldly.

Cocktails were amazing, courtyard very cute. Pick any spritz and you can't go wrong.. incredibly well balanced. Olive Bruschetta a stand out. Spaghetti was tasty, but would come back for cocktails over pasta.

This is a great bar to visit in Taormina. It is situated on some steps where guests sit at tables or on cushions. There is also a walled garden area for eating. Fabulous friendly service, wonderful choice of cocktails and delicious bruschetta. The atmosphere at night is wonderful. One of our favourite places.
