We had rissoto with seafood. Average. For sure, it's not the best we had, however the view is amazing and this is the main reason we stayed. Overall, a pleasant lunch accompanied by gondolas and prosecco.

Courtesy, excellent food and professionalism make Al Vagon the perfect choice for those who want to experience Venice also from a food and wine perspective. Fantastic sardines in saor, traditional Venetian first courses prepared to perfection and lots of fresh fish from the nearby Rialto market. Even those who don't eat fish can find what they're looking for here. Honest prices, friendliness and impeccable service. Review also confirmed for 2024. To try.

The service was also very good. We celebrated my mother's birthday and they put a candle on the dessert. We took 2 spaghetti alla marinara because it was really delicious.

Ho mangiato molto bene e a Venezia non è scontato. Ho mangiato piatti di pesce, il risotto e la frittura erano eccellenti. Il personale molto cordiale e l'ambiente ricorda i vecchi ristoranti di Venezia. Lo consiglio vivamente.

09/09/2023: Sempre un’emozione ritornare e mangiare ottimo pesce, vista sulla laguna eccezionale e i camerieri più professionali e gentili che abbia mai incontrato. Da quest’anno per la prenotazione è necessaria la carta di credito a garanzia con penale di annullamento, ma ne vale davvero la pena. Unico consiglio: Le porzioni potrebbero essere leggermente più abbondanti.
24/08/2023: Senza perdere di originalità rispetto alla cucina locale, la alleggerisce e rende moderna. Piatti super come il baccalà mantecato o i gamberi con polenta bianca. Seppie alla griglia fuori menù pericolose, perché non troverete un altro piatto così semplice altrove. Ma il top si raggiunge con gli gnocchetti agli scampi dove carota, cognac e paprika danno carattere ad un piatto galattico.
