Non è la prima volta, e sicuramente nemmeno l’ultima, peccato che al tavolo dove eravamo seduti arrivasse un po’ di freddo da un vicino vano scale, per il resto antipasto di pesce fantasia buono e abbondante, secondi per due e un primo davvero ottimi in quantità e sapori.

We discovered this restaurant by chance, even though we lived a kilometer away: on the occasion of the patron saint of Catania and in collaboration with the "Southern Boutique", a menu was proposed which, due to its quantity and quality, undoubtedly made us experience the context of the large Sicilian tables on festive days. So much so that Sant'Agata has also become our patron saint! What convinced us to return to try their real fish-based gastronomic offer was the service. The boy with light eyes is that waiter that every restaurateur should have among their staff: smile, on his lips and in his gaze, attention, efficiency, engaging. Excellent. At the time of the bill, the very kind owner offered us the bitters: a simple, generous and not at all obvious gesture. As for the dishes, the care in selecting the raw material and the awareness in its preparation is clear; presentation of the dishes without many frills but such as to stimulate the appetite at first glance. It was Valentine's Day dinner and they offered an interesting menu, but we wanted to try the crudité, the large dish and the paccheri with lobster, ordered a few days before to guarantee freshness. The desserts are also very good, especially the lemon delight. Clean and well-kept environment with open kitchen, a detail that I personally always appreciate a lot. Average price, certainly good value for money! We will be back to try other dishes for sure.

Un bel posto. Porzioni abbondanti e cibo si qualità. Pasta fresca buonissima. Da provare i coccoli!

Prima volta, portato da amici. Assaggiati: antipasto Annarè, due primi: gnocchetti e mezzelune e i dolci. Nulla da dire sull'antipasto anche se, il carpaccio di polpo, non aveva tutto sto sapore. I primi, troppo cotti gli gnocchetti e questo a compromesso l'equilibrio globale del piatto, altrimenti gustoso. Poco sapidi, a detta degli altri commensali, le mezzelune che effettivamente erano un po' nascosti dal gusto intenso delle olive taggiasche presenti nel condimento. Tutto sommato un locale da riprovare per valutare se "i difetti" sono una consuetudine o un fatto fortuito. Dolci: cassatina Siciliana; Babà con e senza crema; crema catalana. Buona la cassatina, un po' mignon e il Babà, quello "alla crema" non ne aveva granché, la crema catalana non l'ho assaggiata ma, dalle reazioni degli altri, nulla di eccezionale. Molto presente, puntuale e cortese il servizio. Conto un po' viziato dal vino scelto, forse un tantino sovrastimato (€48 a persona).

Cibo di ottima qualità e personale molto preparato oltre che veramente gentile

Une trattoria très correcte des plats avec des fruits de mer en parti non congelés. Un personnel très agréable. Mention particulière pour le Barman de l'hôtel super sympa et très pro.

Locale molto carino con personale gentile. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, i piatti di pesce erano ottimi dagli antipasti al secondo. Da provare!
