il locale è assai carino, in stile rustico ma ordinato e pulito, si possono gustare con buona scelta dei piatti succulenti nell'atmosfera di un antico borgo. I sapori sono genuini, la spesa onestissima, il proprietario assai gentile.

I was there on a Tuesday evening with 7 other people. During the week, there is an offer for dinner at €20 which includes (per person) starter+pizza+dessert+water. Really good food, good pizza dough and well stuffed. 4 stars just because at a certain point during the dinner, the room was filled with smells and smoke coming from the kitchen.

They recently started making pizza... Excellent... the dough is very good and the ingredients seem to be first choice. The restaurant I tell you to do.. now an institution!! Known by everyone and very good. To try in the summer when it's chilly in Florence.. to come in the winter to feel peaceful and quiet. If we want to be really meticulous, the service is a little slow.

siamo stati con mia moglie a festeggiare il nostro anniversario e devo dire che la scelta si è rivelata proprio azzecata, infatti in questo tipico locale toscano si mangia veramente bene.... sia gli antipasti che i primi ed i secondi sono veramente cucinati bene e presentati con cura, oltre ai dessert che, fatti da loro artigianalmente, raggiungono veramente il top!!! Il tutto ad un costo veramente contenuto a mio parere ed anche la cortesia dei proprietari è da sottolineare.... da provare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

26/03/2024: I was there with friends for my 40th birthday. I contacted the owner Maurizio with whom we immediately agreed on the time and menu. Very kind!!! I really enjoyed myself, everything was delicious and top quality. Stunning location surrounded by greenery with a spectacular terrace. The internal room is no different. Super recommended.
23/02/2024: We came here on our wine tour we were doing and absolutely loved it. The grounds here are stunning with amazing views. It was also really cool to learn about the history of the building over time and how it became what it is today. The entire staff was super friendly as well. I would highly recommend making a stop here if you're in the area!

06/12/2023: I stayed with two other friends in a triple room. The bathroom was not very large but well heated and, considering that in much more renowned hotels, I found a rather cold bathroom in winter, this was a very pleasant note. The breakfast was up to par, I had a mix of sweet and savory. The restaurant was also available for dinner but we had to join the local karate masters so we didn't use it. The lady who welcomed us and who also prepared the breakfasts was very friendly and kind and this is very important because she makes you feel at ease even when you are away from home!!
