Wonderful family-run trattoria, excellent food with lots of courtesy, smiles and simplicity, without too many frills and everything homemade. An experience worth trying. Among the dishes to recommend, the soft polenta with mixed mushrooms is missing, so I mention it here, very good!

Typical and welcoming Veronese trattoria where you can find traditional dishes. Amarone risotto, boiled meats, various types of meat... the kindness of the staff in their welcome and service makes everything more pleasant. The desserts are also very good.

I wasn't asked to cook the cut and it was brought to me bloody, being pregnant and not being able to eat it, I called an elderly waiter who was annoyed and made me cook it. Young waiter brings boiled meat to my mother and doesn't describe any sauces or what's next to it and we didn't know what we were eating or what meat it was. The food is not bad but the service needs to be improved or everything specified precisely at least on the menu at least one knows what he is eating.

It's already the second time we've come. The environment is welcoming, the dishes are exquisite, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the proposals. Also excellent value for money. If you are looking for a typical place to eat in Verona, L'arco dei Gavi is for you!

Praticamente in centro.
Una di quelle trattorie tipiche della città: cucina veronese tipica, mi raccontano eccellente carrello dei bolliti e pearà, ottimo baccalà.
Il locale non è molto grande, quindi la prenotazione è particolarmente consegnata.
Gentilezza ed onestà dei prezzi ammirevoli.

Wonderful spot near the Castelvecchio. We tried a variety of starters and pasta dishes, all of which were quite delicious. We did have order-envy over the hot meat plates, which we could see the servers slicing to order. The wine selection was decent.
The atmosphere was very pleasant, and filled with locals as well as a few tourists.
