Trattoria Calandrino In Firenze

Very pleasant discovery. I'm here for two weeks working in Florence and some colleagues took me to this small restaurant near the center of Florence. What can I say... I was enchanted by the goodness of tomato pasta. I thought I had tried them all but this was something special. I wanted to go back today and tried the Fiorentina stew and let's say I totally fell into catalepsy. FABULOUS, I've traveled around Florence a lot, but come on, I've never tried real Tuscan cuisine before. Everything was delicious, a very friendly family run place and if we want to add, the girl who works (I think she is the owner) is really very nice. One more reason to try this place. acevolissima scoperta. Sono quì per due settimane a lavorare a Firenze e alcuni colleghi mi hanno portato in questa piccola trattoria nei pressi del centro di Firenze. Che dire… sono rimasto ammaliato dalla bontà di una pasta al pomodoro. Pensavo di averle provate tutte ma questa era qualcosa di speciale. Sono voluto tornare oggi e ho provato lo spezzatino alla Fiorentina e diciamo che sono totalmente caduto in catalessi. FAVOLOSO, io ho girato veramente tanto Firenze , ma forza la vera cucina toscana non l’avevo ancora mai provata. Buonissimo tutto, locale a conduzione familiare molto cordiali e se vogliamo aggiungere, la ragazza che lavora (penso sia proprietaria) é davvero molto bella. Un motivo in più per provare sto posto. little choice of dishes and not all of them traditional Tuscan dishes

Un piccolo locale di quelli "con la tovaglia a quadretti", gestito da persone semplici e gentilissime. Abbiamo mangiato degli ottimi coccoli (piu' vicini ad uno gnocco fritto in verita', ma al palato poco il nome poco importa!), degli ottimi arancini fritti ( come si fanno in casa) e un coniglio, fritto pure lui, che ho diviso volentierissimo ( pur non amando affatto il coniglio). Fiaschetto di buon rosso e amaro gentilmente offerto per chiudere in allegria. Pochi tavoli garantiscono la quiete per poter scambiare due chiacchere, e anche questo ormai direi che non è scontato di sabato sera.

Exceptional! Typical old-style home-style trattoria atmosphere and superlative food at low prices! The second courses starting from 12.90 are unparalleled, also because they are delicious and abundant. Livorno chop and pork loin highly recommended. The sautéed chard is also good! Had dinner for 35 euros for two!

Two first courses, a still water and two coffees 16 euros... honest

Magnificent, the same cuisine as during my first visit in 2017. Grandma-style cuisine of very, very good quality.

Very small with just a few tables but the food is good, simple but tasty dishes
