The restaurant was in a more quiet street which we really enjoyed. The staff was really nice and the food was amazing. We got their gnocchi which were great and the mixed grilled meat (veal,pork ribs and sausages, chicken). They also have off the menu plates which sounded really appetising.

Excellent experience. Arriving without a reservation and with few ideas, we chose a first course and a barbecue. The weather permitted and we ate outside. A pleasant and peaceful lunch. So, more than satisfied, the house wine also deserves recognition, good and sweet, not the ciofeca that we drink in Lazio.
Yes, because when you ask for a house wine, in our area, vinegar could be part of your meal without even having had a salad.
Obviously, not all...let's not generalize 😏

One of the best trattorias where I have eaten in my life, so good that we returned after two days.
Starter of delicious cured meats, house soup and space-age veal cheek, the cheese with chopped pistachios was also very good, but the winner was the ricotta gnocchi with Sagrantino, one of the best dishes I've eaten in my life. And the dishes are also plentiful!
The only complaint is that the place is small and could become chaotic, but that's a relative problem.
Excellent and quick service, prices on average with expectations (the next day we went to eat in a restaurant that cost the same and had smaller portions and food that wasn't up to par). Highly recommended.

Everything was excellent, from the food... to the staff, very friendly and welcoming chef... what can I say, going back... of course, many, many times... as my daughter said at the table... mum, I only feel one thing... .what darling...just Music in my mouth..that means...that we will be back soon...

Fresh products cooked according to Umbrian tradition. They cook the meat excellently. I went for both lunch and dinner, because in addition to having eaten very well, I was welcomed with smiles and kindness (apart from the exceptional service). The top location! Highly recommended.

Hard to find a flaw. High quality food, you truly eat like "saints" :)
2 of us had the bruschetta starter (the one with liver pate takes you to another dimension), supplì, then a first course the strangozzi alla boscaiola, a second course the veal cheek in red wine and grilled vegetables on the side.
Kind, non-intrusive service, rustic and welcoming atmosphere that gives warmth.
Spent a total of €56 (without wine and dessert).
Highly recommended, congratulations!

Ottima cena in centro ad Assisi.
Lasagna e ravioli superlativi, così come la carne: grigliata mista top.
Buonissime le bruschette e le patate rustiche!
Che dire.. le foto parlano da sole!
La prenotazione è consigliata perché molto gettonato.

Recommended as a fave of a local, the food was so tasty and the people eating here were having such a good time, it was people from Assisi so that says a lot. My chicken was grilled with such flavor, potatoes cooked in ash were lovely and the tiramisu was very creamy but no alcohol on it. (if that is your sort of thing) on a side street with lovely street seating. also, a glass of wine was much less than other restaurants with the same quality. I had my birthday here and all the people sang!
