Typical village restaurant, of those of the past, simple and genuine dishes.

Experience started a little badly and then recovered in the corner. We arrived for dinner at nine and there was no one left. Only U.S. After being promised on the phone that we would have a table outside, the owner instead insisted that we sit at a table inside. Alone. Without music... with the various comments from the owner and the waitress.... and so far it's fine. Having overcome the initial embarrassment we ordered two first courses, with mushrooms and San Daniele. Very good but both a little too salty. The evening then ended better, with a chat and a bitter offered by the owner. We paid 40 euros for two first courses, two side dishes and a couple of beers. I don't know, maybe I just caught the wrong moment in the right tavern? But honestly, when in doubt, I'm not tempted to try again!
