A very cozy restaurant. The staff is friendly, very knowledgeable about the wines. These taste good and are offered in different price categories. The restaurant opens at 7 p.m. The dishes are visually well presented and the taste of the meat is cooked to perfection. Reasonably priced and not too expensive. Parking spaces are free opposite the restaurant. If you arrive too early, you can pass the waiting time in the bar opposite. Here we paid 7 euros for coffee and wine for four people. And at an acceptable quality. Although there are only locals here, everyone is nice and friendly. You won't be looked at strangely.

Nice place to stop to enjoy the house specialties. Super pork and the gubana with grappa cream is the right conclusion. The house shotgun is adequate. Very friendly and professional manager and staff. Prices appropriate to the service.

A food and wine stop not to be missed for anyone traveling near Prepotto! We took a platter of really fresh cold cuts with an original and exquisite flavour, then the pork cooked and seasoned by a true chef, as well as the very tender pork cheeks truly from starred cuisine! The typical Friulian wines need no comments, but at Mario's they are for true connoisseurs, the Schioppettino reigns supreme and the barricato is fantastic. I recommend it to all those who love quality food and wine with exceptional flavour.

My wife and I often go to the Prepotto UD area, I recommend the Trattoria da Mario, the price and quality of the food is excellent, Davide and Moreno, Marco's sons
together with his wife they run a typical Friulian inn, go there and you will not be disappointed.... Trattoria da Mario a name a guarantee

Siamo stati da Mario enoteca dello schioppettino per mangiare la “maialata”. Piatto eccellente con stinco e costine che si scioglievano in bocca. Eravamo in 55 tutti entusiasti. Mario poi e’ un ciclone di simpatia, non te ne andresti mai. Un grazie immenso dalla classe 40 di Busto A.

Una piacevole cena con amici.
Un locale altrettanto piacevole. Un menù con una scelta di ottime alternative. Buono il crostone, ottime le costine e per finire un buon dolce. Tutto abbondante e di qualità. Conto onestissimo. Personale gentilissimo e cordiale. Proprio una bella serata.
