Dined here tonight. The meals were great for the price and the atmosphere and service was exceptional. They make you feel welcome and go out of their way to make sure you have a great meal and evening. Definitely recommend.

Their specials are really delicious (gnocci with lamb and artichokes were divine!), nice outside seating in a quiet alley, they have heater lamps for those chilly mid-season days. Pleasant staff and traditional interiors. Reasonably priced. It is hard to find a restaurant of this quality in these central tourist locations

Intimate and very welcoming location, very kind and hospitable staff, wide availability of gluten-free food, delicious food and desserts!! The chocolate cake is super recommended

Trovato per caso, trattoria a conduzione famigliare, locale caratteristico Sestiere Castello, piatti tipici e non, discreta scelta di vini ambiente cordiale e servizio rapido. Consigliato, anche per aperitivi

Pizza dough was a bit unsalty. The desserts were panna cotta, choc cake and lemon sorbet. I can confirm that all 3 of them were absolutely superb!

29/03/2024: The lady is so nice and friendly. The hot chocolate is absolutely amazing, I got 2🤩 perfect for a cold morning. It’s a very local place where everyone knows everyone so definitely not touristy.
16/03/2024: I’m so glad I came to this place! I was staying nearby and wanted somewhere quiet and relaxed to have breakfast, but I was a bit nervous. The lady who served me was so nice and patient with me, even with my very poor Italian skills. In the end I ordered a cornetto and espresso, and I think it was the best I had my whole time in Venice. It was quiet so I ate at a table by the window to watch the rain and felt so peaceful. Since it was still early I went back and also ordered a macchiato which was also amazing. The price was also incredible compared to other places I visited. I think only around 3€ for two coffees and delicious fresh pastry. If I can come back to Venice I’ll come here again!
