It is a trattoria in the middle of the San Ambrogio market, surrounded by the market stalls, therefore a particular and beautiful location.
The managers are very nice and approachable. Absolutely competitive prices.
I didn't give 5 stars only because the food (typical Tuscan) seemed a little "softened" to meet the needs of "most people".
Otherwise a very pleasant experience

I believe Da Rocco is an institution and a point of reference for Authentic Florence (immersed in the historic market of Sant'Ambrogio). Despite being full, in a very short time, they seated us and we were served absolutely impeccably. Excellent Lampredotto, roast beef and dessert, the typical Fiorentina Schiacciata (a spectacular dessert). All accompanied by an excellent Chianti in the typical fiasco. If you are in Florence you cannot miss a lunch break in this iconic place. Highly recommended.

Very very nice attention. The food is good, like home-made, not the typical food for tourists served in Firenze. And the best is the price. All for 3, 4 or maximum 5€. Go for it! Come a casa la nona, è prezzo giusto.

I wandered over to the market and wanted to get something to eat. This looked friendly and frenetic (staff were moving food constantly and people coming and going). It was a great atmosphere to watch the locals while eating. Inexpensive and big portion.

Bon, pas cher, une ambiance " speed" qui va bien avec l'esprit " halles" et qui nous a plu. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Le côté typique n'est pas surfacturé comme dans d'autres lieux. Desserts super.
