Da Tonino In Roma

we stumbled across this place and was lucky to get a seat for 6 on our last evening in rome and this was one of the best meals we had during our time in rome!! hearty food, felt like homemade stuff... meatball was very soft, unlike any other i have tried before! broccoli dish was also very good with some spice to it. rabbit and veal were also very good...but the best of all was their desserts - we initially tried two different types of cakes (cheese cake made with pecorino romano cheese which blew my mind and another yellow cake with cream which was also v good but i didnt understand what the name was...), they were so good that we ended up ordering the other two desserts on their menu - tiramisu and panna cotta with chocolate. they were both exceptional; the tiramisu was better than the #1 tiramisu place Two Sizes that we tried the day before. my family absolutely loved the place!!!

Led by the backpacker guide, we enjoyed dishes of tripe and beef, accompanied by potatoes. I highly recommend stopping at this address 👍

Small place with the tables very close together but for being in the tourist area it was not crowded and the service was very correct. The food is very delicious and the menu is not very extensive. Unbeatable quality-price, I recommend it.

Popped in as passing whilst looking for somewhere to eat after visiting the Vatican and so glad we did. We knew would be good by the amount of locals eating there and trying to get in. Great food, superb service and a good local atmosphere. Great value too!

Unfortunately it has become standardized and the cuisine is no longer what it used to be😢 Normal prices.

Truly typical trattoria, excellent and tasty food, with generous quantities for the first courses. I ate a truly excellent egg pasta with cheese and pepper. Good wine and fast service. Being in Rome, prices are normal. Excellent welcome. Here's a photo.

Very crowded, prepare to wait some time in the queue. The food was good nothing special. Would go again.

Although the place is not large with a small seating area with tables for 2/4 people, the owner brought us together to make us all close together since there were 8 of us, always good food with good quality and price practically in the center of Rome. Thank you
