I'm writing the review immediately, having been this evening with my wife in this fantastic trattoria in the center of Modena, it was a nice discovery, a characteristic and tasteful place, with many rooms to be able to feel comfortable unlike many other places, excellent first courses, tagliolini with special black truffles, excellent fried gnocco, very good tigelle different from the usual, perfect cured meats with also the coppa di testa, fantastic bacon lard, excellent sorbet, impeccable service from young waiters, our professional and attentive waitress with an impressive memory writing nothing, for all tables, young, friendly and professional manager. Keep going guys, we'll be back for sure.

The encore of first courses was excellent, both the tigelle and the sliced ​​meat were good but not memorable. I don't know if it's as chaotic every evening as when we went but at 11.30pm the remaining customers, mostly young people with a bit of alcohol in their bodies, were making an incredible racket. I couldn't talk to my fellow diners. Overall, noise aside, a positive evening

I had dinner at this place with friends. And later also with my wife. We had gnocco and tigelle and pinzimonio and desserts but also meat main courses. All good. Homemade and good tigelle, the meat was cooked very well, the ribs were excellent and melted in your mouth. The location is a bit secluded but for this reason it is a quiet and peaceful place. It has an external veranda that allows you to dine abroad. Attentive and friendly service. Enjoy your visit.

Great traditional, simple food right in the center of Modena. I had the tigelle and gnocco fritto with salumi, and the strozzeti with speck and balsamico. Both dishes were delicious and the portions very generous. The only downside was being seated in the back of the restaurant in a small and humid room where I couldn’t really enjoy the atmosphere of the trattoria.

Historic venue finally brought back into fashion by the new management. Impeccable.

Typical restaurant in the city center. Truly special tortelloni, (in my opinion the pastry was "rolled" by hand) rating 10 Tigelle with different dough and dimensions than usual and really delicious. Location scelta per celebrare una ricorrenza. Il locale si presenta in pieno stile trattoria emiliana. Abbiamo ordinato come antipasto una portata di salumi classici modenesi il tutto accompagnato da gnocco fritto e tigelle. Come primi abbiamo ordinato un primo di maltagliati con fagioli e tagliolini al tartufo, da premettere che la pasta era prettamente fatta in casa. Tutto davvero ottimo. Da bere abbiamo preso una caraffa di vino rosso e una bottiglia di acqua. Per finire come digestivo un allorino, un liquore fatto con l’alloro. Personale molto cordiale e familiare. Prezzi nella media, lo consiglio e sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

Ragazzi lavorate veramente bene, mi spiego meglio: Il locale fa cucina tipica con primi molto buoni, gnocco e tigelle buonissimi, mi ha colpito il tagliere di salumi dove non c'è nulla di dozzinale, non cambiate mai in peggio la qualità di quest'ultimo perche siamo a Modena, dove un piatto di salumi DEVE essere poesia. I prezzi sono più che onesti. Trattorie tipiche a modena ce ne sono ma spesso gli interni sono vetusti e pare di essere a casa della nonna, qui ottima scelta le tovaglie a scacchi verdi e bianchi e tutto pulito, niente ciarpame appeso ai muri, un posto dove ti viene voglia di portare gente. Il giorno in cui vi metterete a fare anche rosette e lasagne avrete la strada spianata per essere la migliore trattoria modenese. Veramente applausi a tutto lo staff
