Huge beach, with beautiful sand. Very long, clean water, shallow for several metres. A couple of factories but 90% are free. Practically empty Monday in September. Spectacular sunset.

Wide beach in Porto Empedocle. It is a free beach among the beaches from which you can stock up on drinks and more. Behind there are a couple of long streets with numerous parking spaces (for a fee). The sea is crystal clear and the water tends to get deeper quite far away.

In the province of Agrigento, the most popular beaches are San Leone and Scala dei Turchi, but that of Porto Empedocle - which borders and flows into that of Realmonte - in my opinion has nothing to envy of them: large and spacious so as to never be "surrounded" even on peak days, clean, water that is always warmer than its Agrigento "colleagues" and very fine sand, which does not stick to the legs and arms. There is ample parking and the possibility of purchasing umbrellas and drinks in the adjacent kiosks as well as renting pedal boats. Perhaps it has few sports entertainment - slides, beach volleyball courts, etc. - but for those seeking peace and relaxation it is ideal.

Bellissima spiaggia molto ampia e di sabbia finissima. Il mare è pulito, seppur con la presenza dj un po' di alghe. Ci sono vari stabilimenti balneari, ma anche moltissima spiaggia libera. Si può parcheggiare la macchina liberamente nelle strade circostanti.

Buen lugar para hacer un baño en zoka pública de playas. En algunas áreas la limpieza puede mejorar, las estructuras de bares/restaurantes/baños de alrededor no están de lo más cuidadas. Esta playa es un lugar agradable para pasar el tiempo y disfrutar del mar y el sol en un ambiente tranquilo.
