Truly exceptional! Truly sublime trenette with pesto

Cozy and family restaurant. The quality of the food is excellent, genuine and tasty. Average prices and friendly service. The Ligurian rabbit was much appreciated!

A real shame that we can't put even more stars! We ate divinely, a wonderful pesto! And an extraordinary tiramisu, a unique delicacy! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good but I expected something more, expectations a little disappointed. Convenient location, near the port area and the aquarium. Marinated salmon appetizer, a little salty (to my taste) but the fish was good. First course: trofie with pesto and trofie with pesto with added potatoes and green beans (11am and 1.50pm). Good, but nothing world-class, pesto too delicate, it would have been nice to taste it with a little more oomph. However, they bring the cheese to the table so that it can be added again. Second course: Ligurian-style slice of the fish of the day, a sort of stew with wine and without tomatoes, with potatoes and Taggiasca olives. There were three slices of potatoes and THREE Taggiasca olives haha ​​okay but it was good all in all, fresh croaker fish! Followed by stuffed and fried anchovies, delicious, nothing to say :) The staff were friendly, perhaps a little too formal. Prices a bit high for what should be a trattoria, but the impression I had was that of a restaurant

Excellent, like it used to be. Places to preserve. Starters and first courses such as trenette, test it and commendable trofie, even desserts will be remembered. Only fresh fried food, but the oil needed to be changed. Small note that does not change the satisfaction.

Visited on 02/24/2024 by 2 couples of friends. I'll start by talking about the first courses, the ravioli and pansotti are good, as far as the "famous" trenette with pesto is concerned, I must unfortunately say that they did not confirm the expectations for customers like us Genoese and moreover from the Prà area where the basil was born, the pesto had too strong a flavor for my taste. Second negative note comes from the dining room staff. In the meantime, I would like to point out the courtesy and kindness of the waitresses, however the style worsened when, even before ordering the coffees, they kindly asked us to leave the table as soon as possible for people waiting outside the restaurant. I would like to point out that we had booked well in advance and, when we arrived in front of the restaurant, there was a nice sign indicating that people who did not book in advance would not find a place. So, I presume due to greed for cash, they found themselves pleasing a few people, disappointing others!!! For the rest, as mentioned, good and well-cooked food, discreet and kind staff, normal prices for the environment and service and a very beautiful location in the alleys of old Genoa

For those who want to try typical Genoese cuisine this is the right place. Rustic but super welcoming environment, top quality pesto as well as the fish used for the second courses, superlative desserts, all at a fair price. Super recommended.

In due per provare i classici piatti della cucina genovese, ci siamo divise le trofiette al pesto e i pansoti con salsa di noci, entrambi buoni e dal sapore delicato, una cosa molto diversa dai prodotti commerciali. E' però con il dolce che a mio avviso abbiamo raggiunto il massimo, il biancomangiare era semplicemente straordinario, ci andrei solo per quello.

Posizionato in zona porto non lontano dal acquario, si mangia cibo tipico ligure in atmosfera tipica da trattoria. Locale pieno ma ordine preso velocemente da camerieri molto preparati. Non essendo ligure non entro nella diatriba infinita su come si fa il vero pesto….. mi limiterò solo a dire che a me questo è piaciuto davvero TANTO!! Posso però dire la mia sulle alici e le loro le ho trovate OTTIME, freschissime e fritte da manuale. Il prezzo un po’ elevato, non proprio da trattoria, considerando che il locale è tutt’altro che ricercato, e che il bagno lascia un po’ a desiderare.

Un locale molto accogliente, sempre raccomandabile negli anni. Piatti tutti molto buoni, preparati con materie prime selezionate e di ottima qualità, serviti con gentilezza e competenza. Buona carta dei vini. Prezzi più che ragionevoli.
