In this "mythical" kingdom of stockfish, cod is not at home, it "IS" at home. He is the absolute protagonist of all the dishes offered. The trio of cod and the first courses with stockfish sauce are absolutely not to be missed. The service is perfect, dictated by the experience of the House and the unconditional love towards this northern fish. The bill is not salty, like the dishes brought to the table. An experience absolutely worth doing, especially for those who for any reason find themselves going to Messina.

Posto pulito e molto spartano... Personale gentile e disponibile... Cibo ottimo di qualità e buone le porzioni.. Da provare e riprovare...

Per i messinesi é un punto di riferimento e per i turisti é una meta imperdibile. Il piatto tipico é il pescestocco alla messinese proposto in 3 varianti, crudo in insalata, in bianco con le olive e la mia versione preferita "a gghiotta", sugo al pomodoro. Buonissimo... e buonissimo é ancheil loro antipasto misto: peperonata, caponata, parmigiana, funghi ripieni e i fagiolini cotti e poi mescolati con della mollica di pane condita, veramente buono. L'atmosfera é estremamente rilassata e informale, il proprietario e i collaboratori sono gentilissimi e rendono piacevolissimo il pasto. Aperto solo a pranzo.

Locale carino e pulito. Piatti semplici ma eccellenti che valorizzano il territorio. Personale cordiale e attento! Torneremo senz’altro!
