Every now and then I stop to eat in this historic and delicious trattoria with typical Lucca cuisine. The food is really good and I recommend this place both to the people of Lucca and to those who want to taste ancient flavors of the Lucca tradition. Friendly owners, good prices.

We parked nearby and it was a little late, we went in to ask because it had many options to eat and the prices were good and the reviews better. It is a very typical place in the area, with many local people from what we saw and the business from what we saw is quite familiar, many of the dishes are homemade and the desserts too. We tried the house wine and it was quite good for a more than affordable price. We had several dishes that were all good, an assortment of local cold cuts to share, desserts and coffees. The price adjusted to the quality of what we ate, everything was very good, the service was good and the owner who served us was very friendly, he advised us on the dishes and was very understanding, giving us the time necessary to order as we were from abroad. and needing to use my cell phone a bit to see what some of the dishes were, because it was very local food and we had not seen some of it the entire trip. The tiramisu was spectacular, one of the best we have eaten during the trip and they had selections of cakes that looked really good. Recommended if you want to try homemade and typical food from the area.

Siamo capitati per caso, su consiglio di una persona del luogo, in questa trattoria alle porte della città. Ambiente familiare, accoglienza calda. Abbiamo gustato degli ottimi tordelli lucchesi e una farinata lucchese, a seguire la salsiccia con rapini e la classica rovellina lucchese. Per finire, il tiramisù della casa. Tutto veramente buono, il servizio, pur nella sua semplicità, eccellente e il rapporto qualità prezzo molto conveniente. Ci torneremo di sicuro!
