Restaurant discovered by chance on a trip to the town, but we couldn't ask for anything better. Quality and precision at every single course, with rich and decorated dishes. The owner is very friendly and smiling. Desserts not on the menu are also highly recommended!

We visited Manciano in the off-season and could always count on Il Rifugio to welcome us in for a delicious, hearty Tuscan meal. The interior is beautiful and feels like an elevated, modern wine cellar, and the staff here were all incredibly kind!

A nice, cozy place, helpful and very friendly staff. Refined cuisine, pleasing to the eye and taste. A must-see place for lovers of good food and traditional cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Found by chance, returning from a spa stay in the area, it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise! A refined environment, which speaks of love for beautiful things and passion for good food! Three women, a fantastic combination! You can eat very well, with an excellent quality/price ratio. Highly recommended!!! ☆☆☆☆☆

Meravigliosa cena di San Silvestro con un gruppo di amici. Menu perfetto alla carta. Cucina meravigliosa. Ero stata tempo fa e non mi aveva convinto, ma da ora in poi ci tornerò! Anche se i prezzi sono un po' Altini...

Siamo tornati in questo posto visitato due anni fa perchè soddisfatti dalla prima esperienza. Anche questa volta siamo rimasti contenti e ci torneremo di certo per l'orginalità del menù che tuttavia riviisita cucina tradizionale senza riproporla banalmente per chi vuole qualche cosa di diverso. Tutto viene curato al meglio dal personale simpatico e premuroso.

01/04/2024: We were in Sorano during Easter... discovered this Hosteria... ate wonderfully well... to finish the dessert of apples, honey and cinnamon served on a bed of sublime cream... impeccable service and staff... we will be back

To make a long story short we ended our holiday in Tuscany with a magnificent dinner... Even if there was one negative thing... The waiter was a nice guy about 20 years old very knowledgeable very professional very polite as a fan of Juventus...but otherwise toop

10/02/2024: Discovered by chance, a place of the Italy of the 60s, friendly, welcoming, excellent fish cuisine, seafood risotto perhaps a little salty but full of flavour, well-made seafood appetizer served with care, super final coffee, honest bill, from return!
18/01/2024: Locale ampio arredato in modo semplice ma accogliente e personale molto cortese. La cucina qui la fa da padrona pero': piatti curati sia per l'occhio che per il palato e soprattutto molto gustosi. Ampia scelta anche di specialità siciliane. Il prezzo: giusto. Orecchiette con cime di rapa e salsiccia buonissime e Gnocchi ai tesori di Sicilia STREPITOSI . Brave, se passo di qui tornerò volentieri ad assaggiare gli altri piatti.
