Warm & welcoming staff serving authentic Roman food. A queue to get in but once you're at the table, the care is brilliant. Try to reserve if possible.

Truly one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. We had to wait a short time in front of the restaurant for a free seat, but it was 100% worth it. The service was very personable and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and so was the wine recommended with it. We went there twice during our Rome vacation because it was so good. Italian restaurant, just as you would imagine. Highly Recommended!

Having stumbled upon it by chance, we found ourselves in a trattoria with the flavor of times gone by. Ate very well, excellent pizza (those who like it thin), light and crunchy. Medium/low prices. Top tiramisu. Compliments!

Meget god service, meget gode priser og god atmosfære. Lokalt spisested hvor de lokale spiser. Gode viner følger med og alt det lille ekstra.

Our first night and hotel made a late reservation for us (10pm) - the place was buzzing but our table was ready and the pizza was the best we have had throughout our stay in Rome. Great friendly service, clearly a place for locals as well as visitors.

06/04/2024: Roma menu was more than worth the money.
05/04/2024: The food was amazing. We had one plate of pasta and one plate of guancia. Everything was incredible. The service with Eduardo was incredible. I would come back for sure. And super nice price. 2 plates, antipasto and desserr 28€ per person.

Trattoria Al Gran Sasso

06/04/2024: Excellent. To repeat. The funghi and the mille-feuille are outrageous. We will be back.
06/04/2024: Cozy place, clean even if small. The food is plentiful and tasty, you can feel that they use fresh products. The bill is a little high (€3 for a 0.75l still), but average compared to the others in the same area. The service is particular, the waiters are kind, fast and attentive but they love to make jokes about the customers without considering that the kitchen is one step away from the dining room. But apart from this unpleasant parenthesis it is a good place to have dinner.
