Before anything else, the service here is top notch without doubts. The bread here was one of the best we had in our trip. They gave us a on the house starter which was delicious with the bread. The food is quite good and the tiramisu was fantabulous. We were not happy with our pasta and its salt level, but they offered us an alternative dish and even gave a discount which speaks for the service. Also gave us digestive shots on the house which was a wonderful end to the dinner. We did not even realize we spent so much time here.

In reality, rather than 4/5, I would put 8 (point something) out of 10 because I ate really well. The only thing that didn't convince me among those I tried was the creamed cod: it tasted too much like 'raw' fish which, for cod, isn't the best. For the rest the cuisine is a real delight. Traditional (among the best carbonaras in Rome) but also expertly revisited, with taste and sobriety. Which is exactly what you need when in Rome you want traditional classicism combined with that something extra brought by the creativity of a good chef. The pici with chicory, fennel and breadcrumbs and the caramelized onion tart are highly recommended. The fried sweetbreads with tartar sauce are really tasty, both as a second course and as an appetizer. Excellent restaurant, worth trying and returning, because you can see that it is solid and tested. Congratulations to all.

Optimal experience. Qualified and professional staff, as well as friendly. Really great food, good quality. Everything was perfect except for the last part of the lunch, since the coffees ordered were forgotten and we had to request them. Ease of finding parking for your car. Advise.

Trattoria da me frequentata varie volte e devo dire con soddisfazione, accoglienza e servizio gentile e attento, atmosfera familiare, cucina romana e non, sempre ben presentata e di buona qualità per non parlare degli ottimi dolci e buona carta dei vini. Purtroppo però devo far presente che, non so per quale motivo non conoscendo l'organizzazione della cucina, tra un piatto e un altro c'è un attesa troppo lunga. Per carità non mi piace mangiare tutto di corsa anzi mi piace conversare a tavola e gustarmi il piatto ma 30 minuti tra antipasto e primo lo definirei eccessivo. Comunque al di là della mia considerazione la consiglio vivamente.

Si conferma un ristorante di alto livello: situato ai margini del Testaccio (complicato trovare parcheggio!) location da trattoria vecchi tempi ma cucina romana ottimamente rivisitata. Antipasti interessanti (ottima la purea di fave e la coratella ma su tutti consiglio il baccalà mantecato davvero da leccarsi i baffi), primi ottimi sia quelli della tradizione (ho assaggiato un’ottima carbonara) che quelli rivisitati (hon trovato gustosi i pici con cicoria e pane). Per finire un ottimo tiramisù. Buona ed ampia la lista dei vini. Prezzi medi. Servizio di buon livello.
