Service ok but unfortunately tourist factory. Pasta not incredible and almost inedible so salty 😒

It is without a doubt the best pasta in Rome. The only place I always return to every time I visit the Eternal City.

We reserved a table here based on a recommendation. When we arrived, there was already a long line of guests who hadn't made a reservation. We had a nice evening and everything was fine so far. However, we wouldn't stand in line and wait for a table. We can't understand the "hype".

Very crowded place, rustic interior and a slightly noisy environment. Couple's lunch on a relatively quiet day. In addition to the slow service, about 40 minutes for two first courses, I didn't like the carbonara, in particular I left several pieces of bacon on the plate that were too hard (I thought they had been overcooked by mistake) and the owner at the end of the meal he explained to me that they purposely cook the bacon with three different consistencies, and the last consistency (the one that I found too hard) was used precisely to give greater flavor to the dish. The pasta was good but, personally, I don't agree with the choice to have 3 different consistencies of bacon on the plate. Among the positive sides is certainly the cost with truly affordable prices.

Just wonderful. Foods are delicious. This restaurant is very good mood.

All the fried foods were of excellent quality. The supplì are exquisite. The pizza, typical Neapolitan, seemed to all of us to be behind cooking. Probably, it was early, and the oven was not at the right temperature. We'll try again.

Not great. Choose a proper small trattoria, this might feel too touristy.

Serata davvero assaj bella quella da Vecchia Roma, trattoria storica della Capitale che è propone fra le pietanze più gustose e buone della tradizione culinaria romana! Posticino spartano, grande, sempre gremito di gente, caciarone e conviviale. Personale gentile, dinamico e attento. Servizio buono. Pietanze romane proposte ottime. Discreta la mozzarella di bufala e il prosciutto crudo (devo ammettere che ho mangiato mozzarelle di bufala e prosciutti crudi più buoni). Carciofi alla romana DIVINI: abnormi, caldi e croccanti! Un capolavoro. Semplicemente OTTTIMI i tonnarelli alla grigia con carciofi! Ho trovato SQUISITO anche l’agnello panato: porzione abnorme e ottima selezione della carne, tenera e profumata. Buono anche il vino rosso della casa. Prezzi nella norma. Lo consiglio.

Buon locale con una buona cucina romana. Frequentato anche da moltissimi turisti vista la posizione ma non locale turistico. Prezzi adeguati al servizio ed alla scelta
