Beautiful mountain hut reachable in about 1 hour from the Fane mountain hut. Really great food, the cheese knodels are amazing.... the best I've tried. Very friendly and helpful staff, absolutely recommended. From there it is possible to continue and reach the Monte Sasso pass or the Seefeldspits pass and the summit of the mountain. There is also a ridge path that connects Forcella di Monte Sasso with the top of the Seefeldspits, the path is very narrow especially in the first part and quite exposed, therefore a firm step is necessary.

We were there by bike, which was manageable even for me as a not very experienced rider. We were warmly welcomed, had a very good meal and had a nice chat with the innkeepers. I would love to come back.
