We went late afternoon on a Saturday to check it out and support a local gay business. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Drinks were good. Atmosphere is cute/kitschy. A very fun little spot to have a cocktail and chill for a bit.

We felt welcomed and at home here. Been there twice in our four days visit to Florence. On the second time, they had live music. All great. I missed a little more people in, but it was not Summer. Definitely will come back again.

What fantastic and fun place to be. Quirky and original with lots to look at. You must go to the loo as well! Thoroughly recommend recommend this place. Wish there were more like this in London!

A due passi dalla caciara del Duomo e del Battistero, piccola oasi per una colazione e anche per un pasto senza particolari fronzoli, in un ambiente pulito, molto ben rifinito in un caos organizzato di memorabilia varia, simpaticissimo Andrea, gentile quanto professionale. Cari turisti, sganciatevi dal caos e rifugiatevi dopo appena 100 metri in un luogo delizioso ..... musica 70/80 +/- in sottofondo, che non guasta mai. Bravo!

04/04/2024: I came here for my birthday with friends and had such a blast. I was welcomed with a handwritten birthday card from Trattoria Sostanza staff and also received well wishes from one of the managers during the dinner. Also, Briauna served my table and she had so much knowledge regarding the dinner menu (including specials) as well as the wine selections. I sincerely appreciate her patience with my group as we needed a lot of time to both catch up and also to pick our entree/drinks. I will definitely return again to this amazing restaurant!
03/04/2024: La cucina povera par excellence and brilliantly executed! A great experience and one of my best memories in Florence. Beyond the taste, it’s the experience in a typically local place that is worth the detour! 💯

31/03/2024: Easter lunch with the whole family 18 people. Excellent welcome as usual. Very good dishes.
29/02/2024: Good starters and first courses, we wanted 4 trios since there were 4 of us, they only allowed two, difficult to justify.
