U' Palacca In Calasetta

It was the first time I went there and that we went there. It probably looked small from the outside, but for the evening we spent, it was above all expectations. I was struck by the furnishings and the layout of the walls, a touch of black and white with photos of some period films, made us seem to be an integral part of that now forgotten cinema. We also appreciated the menu (of the New Year's Eve). Dishes served with a certain elegance in the plating that highlighted those dishes. It was the fish that was the master. It is important that I spend a few lines for the staff. He made us feel like an integral part of the staff and their family, all of whom were really friendly and their welcome to the venue made us feel satisfied with our choice of evening.

Nice little restaurant in the center of Calasetta, near Piazza Belly. Good quality typically seafood dishes. Prices are decidedly high, even more so in the very low season but in particular the quantities (especially of starters) are very small. Nothing to say about the place, it's nice and cozy, only the toilets could be improved and the chairs are uncomfortable to my taste; friendly staff. I give an extra star due to the fact that even in a period with very few people around and everything closed they keep the restaurant open (the only restaurant on Sunday for lunch) providing a service to those passing through by land and sea.

There is something about this place! Start slow with a local red wine and formage, antipasti, then delv into a culinary experience!

Una giornata con la famiglia, festeggiata come in casa. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati dall'accoglienza e l'ottimo servizio. Ambiente caldo e colorato in modo raffinato. Un pranzo a base di pesce,accompagnato da un vino special. Pietanze ottime per qualità e quantità.

Really great food!!! High class cuisine with honest prices. All seafood dishes are very fresh. The nice thing is that if you want something in particular you can also call a few days in advance. Then the Very nice owner.

Locale carino, servizio nella norma, rapporto qualita' prezzo scarso, troppo caro! Abbiamo preso un antipasto misto composto da una insalata di polpo con le patate, 4 pezzetti di rana pescatrice con pomodorini e cipolla, una decina di cozze gratinate quantita' alquanto scadente, due primi, raviolini di cernia al sugo di scampo, uno spaghetto con le vongole, 2 calici di vino, una bottiglia d"acqua dolce caffè per un tot. di 110€!! Sconsigliato, per 55€ a persona si trova di molto meglio.

Abbiamo mangiato in questo ristorante a cena, consigliato da gente del posto. Due adulti e due bimbi. Posizionato su una delle vie principali, ambiente carino ed informale, la cameriera molto gentile ci ha accolto in maniera amichevole. Tutto perfetto fin qui. Purtroppo al momento dell'ordinazione il Tonno, uno dei piatti tipici del posto era esaurito pertanto abbiamo ripiegato su due semplici antipasti, una rana pescatrice alla catalana, quasi inesistente vista la quantità... sauté di cozze, buono; ravioli alla crema di scampi e carbonara di mare. Per quanto riguarda i primi le porzioni erano perfette ma qualità degli spaghetti media visto i gamberi negli spaghetti non c'èrano. Cotoletta e patatine per la bambina alla modica cifra di 18 euro. Prezzo un po' Troppo elevato.

Ottima cucina, si spende il giusto. Servizio molto professionale e gentile. Anche improvvisando, senza prenotare, ci hanno sempre accolto e trovati uno spazietto. La location è molto carina a tema peschereccio, che conferma l'ottima cucina di mare. La posizione è ottima, da una. Parte puoi ammirare il porto turistico ed il mare, dall'altra si affaccia alla piazza del centro di Calasetta.

After 10 days holiday in sulcis area, finally we found a proper pasta. Good ingredients and cook perfectly from the chef. The view of the sea from our table gave us a relaxing lunch. Also see the passion of the lady (owner) that served us was a treasure. Prices in line of what proper food in sardinia should be priced every where. For the same price in London we eat a poor fish and chips😂 Definitely recommended

In due 130€ per pesce spada affumicato e rana pescatrice (entrambi buoni; nella norma come qualità e quantità), due spaghetti ai pomodorini (buoni , anche di più...) accompagnati da aragosta (piccola ma superba), per poi proseguire con un fritto di calamari, decisamente da rivedere (pastella ... 🙄) . Una mezza bottiglia di ottimo bianco, caffè e barricata. Cena in ambiente gradevole, poco affollato e tempi di attesa accettabili. Personale simpatico e valido. Sensazione: si accontentano della sufficienza che soddisfa la clientala tipica? Si intravedono delle possibili potenzialità, ma .... Va bene così. E così sia, senza infamia e grandi onori. Però il costo andrebbe adeguato 😐
