They must have new staff because everyone I interacted with here was very kind, contrary to some of the older reviews. Americanos are on point and strong.

Un chocolat chaud où la cuillère tient presque toute seule debout tellement il est dense. Et succulent. 2 chocolats chauds classiques, 1 café americano, le tout accompagné de petits biscuits faits maison offerts pour8 euros. Nous y sommes venus 2 fois. Bravo et merci.

Storica location situata nel salotto di Siracusa,Corso Matteotti con dehors esterno ,ottime colazioni e rosticceria. Ben frequentato con utenza soprattutto residente ma anche turistica. Buon espresso , anche se il caffè alle volte è servito come un po’ ovunque,in modo non propriamente consono come si conviene ad un banconista/barista professionale: il caffè è un rito e pertanto andrebbe servito prendendo la tazzina dal MANICO! Esiste per questo. Per il resto locale e personale cortese.

02/01/2024: Lo chef Mirko riesce pure a migliorarsi. Cenone praticamente perfetto. Ormai è un obbligo essere a Siracusa e approfittare andando a trovare lo chef e per deliziarci gli occhi e il palato. Sempre più bravi, cortesi e eccellenti nel cibo per quantità, qualità, prezzo onestissimo e cortesia infinita, ambiente, mise en place. Tutto insomma.
20/10/2023: We had dinner here inside the restaurant and it was excellent. Antipasti: Totanetti Affogati (calamari in tomato sauce and herbs); Primi: Spaghetti ala Congolese veraci bottarga (gluten-free spaghetti with clams in an herb sauce); Secondi: Trancio di tonno scottata con cipolla rossa caramelatta e pistachio (seared tuna with caramelized onions and pistachios). All of the food was excellent; very interesting menu with several good choices. Very good service; in fact, our server knew the menu and was able to advise my partner on what she could order gluten-free. Good wine selection (all Sicilian) and very reasonably priced. We ordered a bottle of Fina Hanami Rose that was very nice and dry for only 22 euros. We recommend this restaurant.
