Zagara In Anacapri

Very nice discovery, meal in a garden of lemon and orange trees. The food is very good, with seasonal and local products. I recommend this place when visiting Anacapri!

We tried the aperitif at their wine shop. We were greeted by trained, kind and helpful staff. The offer is very valid, both in terms of wines and food, on the menu you can find delicious dishes that are different from all the rest of the nearby offer (top tartare and focaccia with octopus water!). The only advice I can give is to personalize the location more with more particular furnishings, in line with their menu. For the rest, I think we need to reward the commitment of those who dare and believe in what they do, we'll be back!

For lunch snacks, I ate pasta in a jar (I'm not sure why they put it in a jar, so I took off one star) and assorted fried food. The food was delicious and the house wine was good, but it was too expensive. The atmosphere is good

A beautiful meal in the lemon grove. We went here for a dinner and were immediately impressed by the amazing atmosphere and lovely setting. We chose to have the 5 course meal. I got the land and my wife got the sea. While it was expensive, the overall experience was phenomenal. The land menu was I think a superior but the dishes in both were creative, delicious and high quality. The dessert was not my favorite but it was great nonetheless. Overall a great place to have a special experience and have a lovely romantic meal with your significant other. Food and drinks are great as well.

Eating here is truly an experience to savor! We were on a day trip to Capri and after enjoying the ride up the chairlift we were told we HAD to go to La Zagara. This place is a little off the beaten path, which makes it that much more special. Upon walking up we were immediately taken with the beautiful setting among the lemon trees. It is difficult to explain the beauty of the outdoor patio, but being able to sit amongst the lemon trees, with other trees full of oranges and kumquats was not only gorgeous, but also relaxing and felt so luxurious. The menu had so many various taste tempting options, but we dedided to make it easy on ourselves and splurged with the Tasting Menu. I'm so glad we did! We were able to try a variety of dishes from a shrimp carpaccio that melted in my mouth, to what I found to be the pinnacle of the meal - cuttlefish ink pasta with with an amberjack tartare....chef's kiss! It was fantastic. The dessert was a mouth-watering lemon parfait that was served so beautifully and tasted just as good as it looked. Our waiter Benjamin took care to explain each course to us in detail and we also were able to get a charming summary of the restaurant and the history. Thank you for taking such good care of us! We ended up in a bit of a rush to make it back down to the port to catch our ferry, and Benjamin called us a taxi, the owner Marcellus greeted us as we left, and we felt like we had a made the best decision of the day to make sure we came to La Zagara.

Excellent overall. Food is excellent, ambiance is incredible, service was good just slow for checkout. Expensive but similar pricing to Positano, so going into it we were aware and left happy. I would recommend for the ambiance alone. There’s nothing else like it.
