Came upon this lovely friendly fish place by coincidence as we were walking from the old town of Bari. We were highly satisfied with the quality of the food, the efficient service and the ambience. We noticed that the main courses were quite generous so opted not to go for starters. But they were kind enough to get us two of their famous fresh white cheeses for us to sample as a compliment from the restaurant. We then had the grilled crayfish and oven baked fish with potatoes and olives, both delicious! We then had the berry tart which was nice also very tasty. We definitely will go again before we leave as there are other dishes we saw people having that looked amazing which we wanted to try. Highly recommend it. Went again 2 days later and had the fish soup which was crammed with different kinds of shellfish and the fettuccine with seafood, both amazingly delicious! I would like to point out the generous complimentary treats we got, the ricotta cheese at the beginning and then limoncello and a high quality chocolate bar to cut ourselves with a special chocolate cutter at the end of our meal. All in all, the staff were just wonderful. Thank you, it's been a memorable experience!

Fantastic place where the flavors of the sea 🌊 meet the 🌞 sun and good wine! The Director was an exquisite person, who made me sit down and gave me the opportunity to delight my palate in the best possible way (Despite the full rooms and the packed restaurant). Top service; the waiters take care of the rooms making you feel at home! Not to mention the authenticity and quality of the food (raw and cooked) that "Il Pescatore" offers. We will return and highly recommend!

An excellent seafood restaurant! Courteous and pleasant staff. The dishes were delicious. A few hiccups on preparation times but they make up for it with the taste of the dishes. Average costs for a fresh fish restaurant

Siamo capitati qui dopo una ricerca quasi "disperata" di un posto per mangiare. Abbiamo ordinato crudo, orecchiette con le cime di rapa e un fritto misto. Il crudo non era male, tonno eccezionale, bella varietà di molluschi locali, peccato per il gambero con budello annesso e il troppo ghiaccio che rende il tutto troppo freddo. Le orecchiette discrete ma il sale è stato dimenticato, il fritto buono. Servizio ok, prezzi nella media.

Date le aspettative ed il conto pagato devo ammettere che non sono uscito così soddisfatto come speravo. Il luogo mi era stato consigliato da un amico di Bari. La location era carina, sembra molto tipica e ben integrata a Bari vecchia. Cibo: Antipasti molto buoni (insalata di mare ben fatta) I primi abbastanza buoni, anche se c era poco pesce nel piatto, considerando il prezzo di 25€ mi sarei aspettato qualcosa in più Il secondo malissimo, la cosa che più di tutte c ha lasciati delusi, arrosto di pesce preparato male, polpo troppo duro con sapore quasi di bruciato, l’altro pesce (dentice) davvero piccolo ed anche lui stracotto, molto secco. Lo scampo passabile. Altra nota molto negativa la quasi totale assenza di etichette pugliesi dalla carta dei vini, o meglio, che c erano sulla carta dei vini ma che effettivamente non erano disponibili. Insomma in generale la serata non ci ha lasciati una buona sensazione purtroppo. Camerieri molto cordiali comunque, ed anche il proprietario.
