03/04/2024: The Botteghelle 65 service formula is different from the usual style. A few dishes of regional cuisine, superbly prepared with excellent products, which you choose from the delicatessen counter and then serve to you at the table. Oil for tasting, delicious bread, cellar made up of a careful selection. Highly recommended. For us it is a frequent occurrence.
31/12/2023: We found this place by pure chance, looking for a place that was open for lunch until 3pm. Once we entered, we were asked if we had booked, which we hadn't done, precisely because we were practically on the street and we had heard of the existence of this place not even fifteen minutes before. Since there were only five of us, the owner found us accommodation and then explained to us in great detail the tradition of the business, the dishes of the day and the local wines. This is how our lunch began, with lemon omelette, pasta with aubergines and a platter of mixed cold cuts and cheeses, accompanied by the house Aglianico wine. I read in another review that the owner would be exalted... Well, I too would be exalted by carrying on a more than century-old activity, proposing the excellence of local products, creating a true and not artificial gastronomic culture of the pseudo-gourmet type, as instead many do, and at the right price. In short, I can say that I was more than lucky to find this temple of genuine tastes, run with love and professionalism by a truly special person.
