Followed the advice of a couple of friends….. you must not rush and then you can appreciate care, quality and mastery in the preparation and cooking of fish! raw or cooked, you can never go wrong, in this place hidden from the streets a pearl of quality often appears. I'm just sorry that my mood and personal situation didn't allow me to fully appreciate lunch😔but thank you for your understanding, professionalism and courtesy. All seasoned with a great love for animals and art. I hope to be able to return and complete that unfinished lunch... Highly recommended

Historic restaurant, open for many years now, serving fresh fish. A little out of the way, you have to get to know it as it is definitely not on a main road. I'll start straight away with: don't expect service or an environment like a starred restaurant, because they aren't. They are definitely more "down to earth" and homely, which isn't a bad thing. Maybe a little too indulgent but the quality of the food is impeccable. The fish is purchased directly every morning from the owner so there is no menu card. It varies from raw salmon, tuna, prawns... to grilled fish and shellfish, to fried foods, molluscs (raw oysters and mussels) and so on. We returned after years and the quality has not dropped, just the portions slightly. Which is understandable anyway. For those who write in the reviews that the gratinti (delicious) are cold, they are probably used to literally eating lava.

Ritorniamo dopo un po' di tempo e come sempre restiamo soddisfatti. Locale caratteristico bel arredato, pulito con il personale attento e premuroso. Pietanze veramente buone con vasta scelta di pesce. Rapporto qualità/prezzo buono. 😋🤙

Given that you go to Chicco to eat quality fish without unnecessary frills. If you are expecting a menu, forget it! It would not be possible to order à la carte, because, if Chicco does not find excellent raw materials, Chicco will not cook that dish and therefore will not serve it to you. Each time you will find a selection of courses dependent on what is qualitatively available. Recommended pairing with the house Champagne Rosé. We have been frequenting this restaurant for over twenty years and we will return as soon as possible, it is a unique experience but not for those who are snobbish. Well done Chicco! Premesso che si va da Chicco per mangiare pesce di qualità senza fronzoli inutili. Se vi aspettate un menù, scordatevelo! Non sarebbe possibile ordinare alla carta, in quanto, se non trova materia prima eccellente, Chicco quel piatto non lo cucina e quindi non ve lo serve. Ogni volta troverete una selezione di portate subordinate a quanto di qualitativamente disponibile. Raccomandato l'abbinamento con lo Champagne Rosé della casa. Frequentiamo questo ristorante da oltre vent'anni e ci torneremo quanto prima, è un'esperienza unica ma non per coloro che hanno la puzza sotto il naso. Bravo Chicco! Per noi:"Number One".

Siamo tornati dopo qualche anno e devo ammettere che tutto è perfettamente com’era anzi forse anche meglio! Cena straordinaria a base di pesce con la P maiuscola! Grazie Chicco torneremo presto!
