Typical pub restaurant, excellent service, clean, the rooms are new, clean, welcoming and spacious. Privacy and independence assured.

The best restaurant I tried in town! Rustic but welcoming atmosphere, rich menu with all the local specialities, all delicious. The service was fast and punctual, they all made us feel at ease. The speck platter and goulash are highly recommended!!

Had dinner at Augustiner this evening. Like at home in Landshut (Bavaria) even better. Wiener Schnitzel, wheat beer and the service is simply top. To recommend.👍

Lunch in transit, under the arcades of Merano. Even though the place was full they found us a table straight away. Fast and efficient service. Great food, good selection of beers and reasonable prices.

Locale pulito , personale gentilissimo e disponibile a consigliare cosa mangiare , porzioni abbondanti e ottime, forse si attende un pochino, ma ne vale la pena, da provare. Io ci tornerò di sicuro e lo tengo come punto di riferimento per la cucina altoaltesina.

Siamo stati a pranzo con amici. Servizio un po’ lento, ma i piatti molto buoni. Birra Augustiner ovviamente sempre ottima. Ottimo locale in centro a Merano dove fermarsi per mangiare o anche solo per bere una birra.

22/03/2024: The lasagne was heavy on my stomach, a bit too “mushy”. The apple juice spritzer, 0.2l for €4, is a bit steep. The best thing was the view and the friendly service.

Chalet Madrisa

08/03/2024: Lovely place, super clean, lovely hosts. I spent there a week of workation and I loved every day of it. Huge plus for the bar downstairs, so close to grab a drink and it does not generate any noise in the room. Great hotel!
27/02/2024: We had drinks at the bar and were well looked after. The food also looked very good, we didn't eat there.
