Biancofiore In Bari

We were in Puglia for 10 days and this is The Best Food we have eaten! Must try dishes are : Fish ragu pasta, catch of the day and cheese platter.

Sunday lunch for six people. Nothing to say about the quality of the food, but I would not recommend it to friends and family. Reasons: slightly exaggerated prices (paying €22 for a seared tuna to see 5 small pieces of tuna already cut on a plate - pieces as small as a thumb - seems like a joke to me); asking for "a taste of a dessert each without exaggerating" and then seeing 3 desserts each arrive at the table which affected the overall bill a lot, it seems to me like they want to take advantage of the customer (the desserts are nothing special, I must admit) and then they started clearing away the other guests' plates, while I was still finishing mine. Lastly, but of fundamental importance: the space is very narrow, certainly synonymous with privacy and tranquility, but the tables are very close to each other, diners who ended up at one end of the table had to continually get up to let other people pass, and for everyone it becomes very uncomfortable to leave their place to go to the bathroom). I don't think it lives up to expectations.

Restaurant in the heart of the city of Bari, you enter a very refined environment with a design that personally fascinates me a lot. Very good dishes and really top-notch fish crudités. I definitely recommend it and will happily return.

Very fresh fish, welcoming and very relaxing atmosphere, the spaghetti with exceptional red mullet

Ambiente piuttosto raffinato ed elegante, ma nel giusto, senza eccedere e senza metterti mai a disagio, grazie anche al servizio, molto attento e professionale ma capace di metterti comunque a tuo agio. Nel pieno centro di Bari, a ridosso della città vecchia (Bari vecchia), a due passi dal corso Cavour e dal Lungomare. Cucina in prevalenza a base di pesce, di gran qualità e cucinato con sapienza e maestria. Fantastica a mio giudizio la cucina a vista!! Ottimo il crudo. Da applauso lo spaghettone con i gamberetti ed altresì quello con i ricci di mare... per entrambi un'esposione di profumi e sapori delicati ma pieni ed avvolgenti. Ottimo anche il pescato del giorno (trancio di ricciola) su un letto di verdure sbollentate, cucinato con semplicità, per conservare tutto il sapore di un pesce che personalmente adoro. Buono anche il dolce, il vino rosato... abbiamo molto apprezzato un tris di amari offerti dalla casa... segno di classe ed eleganza, non da tutti. Conto più che onesto se relazionato alla qualità. Bravi tutti... Peccato essere lontani. Solo un consiglio... riparate o sostituite l'asse del w.c. in bagno

We immensely enjoyed our dinner at this lovely restaurant. The interior was very stylish and at the same time we felt we were dining in an old historical building. The service was very friendly and spoke excellent English. They took great care in explaining the menu to us and to cater to all our needs. Since we were feeling adventurous we ordered the menu Mare Crudo. Each dish was prepared with very fresh raw fish and was super tasty. The wines we got served were equally as good. A real fine dining experience. Highly recommended!
