04/02/2024: A recent weekend led us to discover a hidden corner of gastronomic delights: the Fermata del Gusto di Bastia in Albenga. A place that, from the first impact, reveals a profound connection with the excellence of local productions, immediately becoming much more than a simple "stop".
This place has the power to surprise, especially for those, like us, who are looking for authentic culinary experiences full of flavour. While we were paying at the cash register, the farmer from the Il Boschetto farm also arrived with his very fresh Brigasca ricottas, highlighting the close synergy with the local farms, underlining a commitment to quality and freshness which is good beyond the norm. We were also able to visit the farm and the dairy!
The atmosphere of the Fermata del Gusto is warm and inviting, a happy union between different souls: from bar to restaurant, to gastronomy. The service, far from any formalism, is striking for its genuineness and spontaneity, creating an almost immediate family atmosphere. It is rare to find a place that manages to make visitors feel "at home" right from the first meeting, but here the feeling of familiarity and welcome is palpable.
