Family atmosphere, with the rare combination of quality and abundance as in the photo! the owners are very lovely people who know very well how to make a customer happy. Absolutely worth returning and above all highly recommended given that I have eaten like this very few times!

Excellent home cooking, family and at the same time cultural atmosphere with the possibility of leafing through many books and discussing many interesting topics with the owner and some of the other customers. The owner is friendly and welcoming, definitely a recommended place to try in beautiful Trieste!!

Come una volta, sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo. Anche per i libri da leggere, tra cui gli Oscar Mondadori, e la musica che si sente (mentre ero lì si sentiva Furia cavallo del west). Cucina triestina tipica, tranquillo e rilassante. Personale simpaticissimo.

Cibo gustoso, buon vino e atmosfera familiare al Buffet Valentin. Possibilità di cibo e vino da asporto, per chi va di fretta. E la cordialità della titolare, per chi si ferma a mangiare lì. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

27/03/2024: The place is nice and informal, the menu is written on a blackboard. The waitresses are very kind and also nice, it's easy to have a chat with each other. I ate some good linguine with clams, and the bread was excellent too. I spent 16 euros for linguine and a small beer.

01/04/2024: Highly recommended! Excellent pizzas, with a wide choice. Friendly and helpful staff, fast and accurate service. Prices ok. We had dinner on Easter evening, during our stay in Trieste, and they found us a seat immediately.
01/04/2024: We were welcomed very cordially on Easter evening, despite having booked very little in advance. The menu is very vast, we tried the pizzas, which are delicious! I highly recommend this place.
