Cafe Bistro Come in In Lagundo

05/09/2023: Just stopped for lunch here. This location is near the Florian lift above Saltria on the Seiser Alm. It seems to be a popular spot, ideally located for mountain bikers and hikers. We had lunch here, frittaren suppe, mixed salad and Wiener schnitzel, all of which was delicious served outside on the terrace. Portions are very generous. There are auto awnings to give shade or sun. The restaurant is modern and beautifully decorated, a perfect mountain setting. Great place to stop on mountain journeys and easy to get to from the lift. It has its own little church.

03/09/2023: This is a beautiful location, with good food, and great service particularly from Lennert. We stayed in the new cabin like structure and the rooms were small but super cute (perfect for couples - maybe too intimate for friends). I really liked the closet outside the room for boots and hiking gear (and we also used it to keep our food and drinks cool as it was a lot cooler outside than in the room). We enjoyed a couple of hikes in the area as well - even though it was very rainy. The parking and shuttle service is a little bit of an adventure so be sure to ask exactly what you should do prior to arriving. The restaurant gets very busy at lunch during the nice sunny days thanks to day hikers. The food is delicious (even if on the pricey side) so I don't blame them. I'm not sure staying four days is for everyone (we ended up leaving early) as there is not a lot to keep busy with besides hiking (the internet in the public spaces is okay - really bad at lunch time, we had bad weather so the sauna was already quite busy, and we can only eat and drink so much! I did finish my book but it was reading quietly in my room which I can do anywhere).
