Franz In Formigliana

Being able to "create" a high-level fish restaurant in a remote village in the middle of the Po Valley is, I think, no small feat. Courtesy, quality and competence have their price, but it is undeniable that we had a really good time. Book dinner in advance or go for lunch like I did... there are only 30 seats!

A nice birthday from Franz who is always a guarantee, excellent cuisine and a quiet and relaxing environment if I really have to find a small flaw, in our case too long a time between the various courses However highly recommended

Ristorante elegante con bella sala. Pesce fresco con piatti ben presentati. Ottimi gli antipasti un po’ impersonale il secondo di pesce da me scelto. Servizio molto preciso e gentile. Bella lista dei vini. Prezzi in linea con la qualità delle materie prime

Very nice owner, chic place, good food

Abbiamo cenato ieri sera al Franz insieme ad una coppia di nostri amici (noi di Milano e loro di Ivrea quindi a metà strada). Cibo eccellente e ambiente davvero ospitale. Ritorneremo sicuramente. Grazie a tutti lo staff

La qualità del pesce è eccellente ma non da giustificare il conto

Da qualche anno frequento questo ristorante purtroppo nella mia ultima visita ho notato un'involuzione. Spero sia stato un giorno sbagliato. Crudo sempre ottimo ma due gamberi presentavano ancora un residuo di intestino. Passando agli antipasti i freddi buoni tra i quali merita il salmone affumicato in casa. Mentre i caldi da pizzeria ( ma in alcune pizzerie sono migliori) decongelati, i gamberetti nn privati del budello. Grigliata molto ricca ma senza gusto. Sapore amaro dello scampo. In generale una grigliata piatta monogusto dove i sapori dei singoli pesci non si distinguevano affatto. Ottimo il dolce
