Internally very welcoming and romantic place, they don't accept reservations, you have to wait to enter and the tables have a maximum of 6 people and there is also the case of being able to wait a bit outside to enter so if you go there make sure you take the evening very calmly . The menu is cocktail-only with an infinite vastness of cocktails, all very particular, even if many didn't excite me. The owner is fantastic and explains divinely. Definitely an experience worth trying.

Small hidden bar, no more than 6 people enter. Exotic atmosphere inside, very nice decor. It takes at least 15 minutes to choose your cocktail from a long menu, and the result does not disappoint!

I had never visited the place before, the owner is extremely helpful and super friendly, she cares a lot about her customers and the result is satisfaction on the part of the customer who goes there. The place has attention to detail, a great experience.

The restaurant of a 5 star hotel placing in the bottom 20% of ratings in town. There is something wrong with this picture. Actually, the food it lunch isn't really bad. But it isn't outstanding either. Some things are within a restaurant/hotel's control, like the menu and staff. Some things not: like the German speaking tourist at the next table to us who chose not to shower today. We are grateful that this iconic old property was brought back to life. Yes, the times have changed. Alassio and the hotel have changed. Perhaps not all for the better. Five stars connotes the highest quality and probably the highest prices. They appear to have a respectable chef now, and the waitstaff cares. Yet it appears they produce mostly hotel food for a captive audience. They should read the cranky reviews and reflect on them. They don't and hence the title.
