Il Posticino In Cortina d'ampezzo

I had read the reviews and was worried but in reality I understood that the rooms are all different and ours was really, really nice. The staff is sociable and helpful even if there is a bit of general disorganization. The food is good, but you don't have to rush... Breakfast is served in a wonderful room: the buffet is good except for the quality of the desserts which is not exceptional. The bar is fantastic: from 7pm the music starts and the party begins!!! There's fun to be had, for sure. The location of the hotel is exceptional, right in the center of the Corso, in front of the Duomo. A plus: dogs allowed.

Very central hotel, near the church of Cortina, perhaps one of the oldest. Had lunch in a large room furnished in Cortinese style. Recommended spatzle and polenta with stew.

A classic italian alps hotel with a long history. Rooms a rustic and comfy. Bathrooms can have a little old tech equipment, but everything works. Personnel very helpful with a classical touch. A excellent choise in Cortina

Let me start by saying that I didn't stay in the rooms but only in the bar which is absolutely ok if you want to have an aperitif with friends, very friendly staff and excellent cocktails. Average prices for Cortina.

Lovely and welcoming hotel, ideally situated in the centre of Cortina. Great bar and friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and well-stocked. The ideal combination of comfort and style, without being too expensive. Only two real drawbacks : 1) The mattresses are quite hard. That’s obviously a personal preference, but it was a bit annoying; and 2) for the last few days, a scientific breakfast conference was hosted in the hotel. This meant that the paying staying guests such as myself were evicted from the main breakfast room (which has beautiful Mountain Views), and put in a small annexe. This wasn’t fair, given that one of the main reasons for staying at the hotel is the beautiful views from the breakfast room, and we weren’t warned about this in advance. But other than that, the hotel was great - we will return next year

In posizione strategica, camere ben insonorizzate da doppie finestre, frigo bar, tutto molto pulito. Colazione impeccabile dal dolce al salato. Lo staff è super efficiente e allo stesso tempo molto cordiale e sempre disponibile ad ogni tipo di esigenza. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Location super interni retro. Ma si trova in un posto impareggiabile

Abbiamo pranzato all’aperto sulla terrazza resa celebre - tra l’altro - dal film Vacanze di Natale. Senza prenotazione, ci è stato ricavato un tavolo per due al sole… il personale è gentilissimo ed estremamente disponibile. Carne salads e gnocchi di zucca strepitosi. Il conto…? Non conta! Siamo a Cortina!

Perfetto per una serata elegante in famiglia o di coppia. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e il locale era davvero bello e decorato molto bene per il Natale. Cucina ottima e porzioni abbondanti, consiglio gli gnocchetti alla zucca, le patate ampezzane e i taglierini.
