Historic place in Bari, small but welcoming and traditional, the prices are now average but honestly in Bari there are larger panzerotti at the same price, going back every now and then but it certainly doesn't hurt

Everything was freshly made, we had meat panzerotti and a drink, very good. 9 euros per person. Everyone was very friendly, the woman who took our order and the boy who placed it for us.

Family-run place, excellent food and courtesy, you will find some of the best fried panzerotti in Bari, at more than affordable prices.

In my personal ranking it is in first place for everything but especially for panzerotti. Surely in Bari many other very good pizza chefs know how to make panzerotti well but for me Fornaccio is in first place.

07/12/2023: Davvero una bella scoperta. Siamo andati a La Chicca su consiglio di persone del luogo. Antipasti ottimi e primi davvero molto buoni. Consiglio la ricotta fritta e il baccalà: davvero eccezionali. Forse l'unica nota dolente, per così dire, sono stati i dolci: non mi hanno entusiasmato. Portate abbondanti e prezzi convenienti. In tre abbiamo speso 100€ per 3 portate ciascuno con una bottiglia di vino e 2 di acqua. Consigliato.

07/04/2024: Excellent hotel. Impeccable service. Very very friendly staff. Very clean hotel.
06/04/2024: Excellent location, just opposite Bari's Central Station. Very helpful staff. They cater also for coeliacs (including lactose and gluten intolerances). Hotel is very well kept and tidy. Includes a small gym. Breakfast menu is vast. Experience at the restaurant and the bar is enjoyable. Very kid friendly. It's like a second home.
