Away from the heavily touristed restaurants, this is a gem of a restaurant with excellent Tuscan beef dishes. I highly recommend it.

Traveling the world eating food, Il Giova has officially made it to my #1. Local as you can get, and you truly feel at home. The food is made with love, and whatever you choose, it will be hard to find something that can beat this level of local love for the best Italian food.

Busy Saturday night and many places do not make reservations. Host was generous to seat two of us. Wonderful recommendations and meal! Charcuterie, filet bisteca w mushrooms, tagliatale w short rib, tirimisu, and vino rosso. All delicious!

01/04/2024: I already knew Chef Perini, I had been lucky enough to taste his talent in the past but I must say that I was surprised again! Excellent food, innovative dishes in combinations, superb presentation as few can do. Congratulations to Andrea and his entire team...and obviously see you soon!
31/03/2024: Easter lunch at 588 We had two foreign guests visiting Tuscany who were thrilled with the food and location- Chef Andrea came to our table with kindness and explained some menus to us - Top dishes!! He's been a chef for 10 years! We will be back soon Thank you all !!!!

28/03/2024: A large delicatessen shop where you will find excellent pasta, cheeses, cured meats, porchetta etc And what about the pizzeria, a wide choice with all you can eat pizza on Thursdays. Staff and owners with unique competence and kindness. Congratulations indeed
